The consultant will help our national security functional experts navigate a complex and changing business landscape. The consultant will work on a multi-disciplinary team that has direct partnerships with end-users within the command and stakeholders within Army. Responsibilities:

  • Understand a range of Army financial and logistical business processes and how to execute the processes within GFEBS-SA, GFEBS and/or GCSS-Army
  • Serve as a liaison to the subject matter experts across highly diverse mission fields
  • Independently facilitate workshops, meetings and training
  • Coordinate with end-users and technical representatives to resolve areas of improvement within the command
  • Develop and conduct analyses in support of initiatives and projects to improve understanding
  • Participate in business case development by identifying various courses of action and the impacts of alternative solutions
  • Provide advice and recommendations to client leadership and other cross-organizational management and synthesize knowledge
  • Validation of current business processes used to deliver capabilities
  • Conduct proactive and consistent research to identify process improvement opportunities including areas of focus, prioritization, key deliverables, and successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Ability to be on-site 100% of the time at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; currently partial telework exists, but is not guaranteed
  • Active Top Secret security clearance strongly preferred. Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS is possible

Our consultants work with our clients to build, sustain, support their large-scale SAP implementations. In this role, you will work closely with end users to provide production support (training & break/fix) and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the US Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System. The Project Controller should have experience coordinating consulting project teams, project status reporting, project coordination and managing project-related administrative activities. Our Project Controllers partner directly with program managers and task leads to help ensure projects move forward smoothly, meetings and associated follow-on actions are assigned, contract administrative and reporting processes are followed, institutional knowledge is captured and disseminated, and to support leadership. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program management and capability development leads to create, maintain, and close out the administrative and task tracking processes associated with new workstreams and new projects
  • Use knowledge of projects and workstreams to prepare presentations, talking points, briefings, and other technical materials to educate, update, integrate diverse types of stakeholders on initiatives and projects underway by team
  • Support daily meetings in person at multiple sites around Crystal City, VA for multiple ongoing projects and teams, to include scheduling, notes capture, briefing creation, and follow-ups

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have over 15 years of federal government delivery experience as a contractor or government employee. Experience areas of particular interest include budget formulation, budget execution, accounting, financial reporting, project management, team lead, working in a SDLC environment, agile techniques, and RPA. The combination of federal financial management experience with IT services is preferred.
  • College degree (4-year degree or higher) is preferred.
  • Federal BD experience including lead generation, pipeline management, capture activities, and demonstrations/presentations to federal decision makers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, candidate should be comfortable meeting and interacting with new people at trade shows and conferences as well as cold calling future sales prospects.
